The boys had another busy day in class, and Avery and Evan missed their friend Evan today. We had a very busy morning working hard in math (learning about place value, addition, subtraction, and number sense and numeracy), literacy (proper questioning skills and comprehension, as well as proper sentences, spelling, and grammar), and physical education (gross motor skills) with our friends in Ms. Dakota's class. The afternoon was equally as busy participating in life and social skills with Ms. Dakota's class. We were busy learning about money, numeracy, place value, food nutrition, and proper social skills for pricing, buying, cooking, and selling various foods.
We ended the day writing in our journals and discussing our feelings, what makes us happy, what makes us sad, and what makes us embarrassed. It was a very productive and learning enriched day!
