Hello Parents and Carers!

Our dear friend was back today!!!!!!!!!!!! Eric and Evan were so excited to see their friend today, they both shouted for joy! Both boys had a blast catching up with Avery and showing him some of the things we have been working on, like our Science Fair board, race cars, time and time management work, Minute to Win It games, Christmas decorations and ornaments, and our two Christmas songs.

While Evan was busy completing his sensory diet, Eric showed Avery a math game he has been participating in to work on auditory processing skills as well as math skills.
Avery trying to remember all of Eric's instructions.
Avery putting up his score!
Eric is "in-the-zone" while listening to Avery's instructions.
Eric thinking about where the bean bags should go.
Eric and Avery using their addition skills to keep score (and looking like they are guilty of something haha).
Evan and Eric showing Avery our class clock, and looking at times in our schedule.
Mr. Avery had the unanimous vote to be teacher today!
Showing the current time. Awww we're late!

In Math today, we used fun activities in our JUMP Math books to look at time. They all did very good work and compared their individual times.
Evan helped our friends better understand hours, minutes, and seconds, and how to properly sequence time in written form.

During Evan's second sensory circuit session, Eric showed Avery all of our moves, and new lyrics, to our Christmas songs.

All of the boys worked together to create a letter for Santa Claus! We will be mailing them out and waiting for Santa's response.

In our Gym session, we participated in two new activities with our friends in Ms. Jessica and Ms. Andrea's classes. There was some great hand-eye coordination, teamwork, sportsmanship, fine and gross motor skills, proprioception skills, vestibular and bilateral movements, and Holiday fun!
Playing "Jingle Bell Rock" and "Pass the Ornament".
We were trying not to hit the Christmas bells in our obstacle course.

Minute to Win It! Avery thoroughly enjoyed our new "Christmas Tree" activity that requires fine motor skills, bilateral movements, hand-eye coordination, and math skills.

Playing a fun auditory listening and active game in Social Skills with our friends.

Decorating our Christmas tree with the ornaments that we made in art class.

In the sensory gym today, the boys had a lot of fun participating in Avery's obstacle course. They worked on hand-eye coordination, teamwork, sportsmanship, fine and gross motor skills, proprioception skills, vestibular and bilateral movements, and balance and coordination.

The Backstreet Boys...I mean here are the boys working on their dance moves with Avery!
Singing the second song!

We had an extra 15 minutes after rehearsal today and completed some fun Christmas math colouring pages.

What a fantastic day having all three Musketeers back together again! See you all tomorrow and great work today.

Mr. Jacob : )
