We had a very busy and unusual Wednesday today. Our usual schedule was flipped upside down it seemed due to Christmas Concert preparations and practicing. But we had so much fun!
Here is Eric and Evan showing each other what time they wake up at in the morning!
Eric was our 'teacher' and is going through our usual morning routine.
Today is....
Tomorrow will be...
Yesterday was...
We had an early snack and recess today because our entire school booked the auditorium to practice for our Christmas Concert. Here are the boys playing outside with William from Ms. Andrea's class.
It was a beautiful sunny day!
Here is a preview of our song that we made up as a class.
The boys did great showing their friends and teachers in Oakwood what we came up with for the concert.
In the afternoon the boys wanted to try out two new Minute to Win Activities that we tried out this week. They are determined to complete them separately in under a minute!
Hand-eye coordination, concentration, bilateral movements, fine motor skills, math skills at work!
Our Minute to Win It countdown at the beginning, and near the end!
During Social Skills we went through some Christmas songs with our friends. Here we are going over some simple and key words before we hit the stage!
Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No wait...it's Evan and Eric jumping into a crash bean bag!
Another fun and productive Sensory Gym session involving academics (math and language) on top of the physical and social-emotional benefits.
Lastly, during team building skills, the boys went through our song lyric by lyric, and note for note! They worked well together and did an amazing job!
Have a great night and see you tomorrow!
Mr. Jacob : )
