Good evening Parents and Carers!

I hope you are all excited as we are for the concert tomorrow!

We started the day off working on our vocals and dance moves for the big day! The boys have done so well and there are many improvements!

Mr. Eric was our teacher today during morning circle- time, schedule, calendar, weather, our engines, and feelings/emotions

Before our whole school rehearsal we participated in some Floortime Partner Play with our friends from Ms. Andrea's class.
Lego building points-based game with Mr. William.
Angry birds addition with Mr. Jadon.

Here are the boys having zero fun on stage! Haha They did amazing and had a blast doing it!

During Language Arts we worked in our Phonics books- sounding out letter digraphs, thinking of words and words that sound the same, and finding pictures in magazines that sound the same.

Another great session of Minute to Win It!

The focus, concentration, and determination was incredible! They all overcame frustrations and managed their emotions and regulated themselves to stay on task and complete the difficulty challenges.

In Social Skills we played an awesome game of real-life Angry Birds Math with our friends. It entailed great hands-eye coordination, fine and gross motor skills, bilateral movements, teamwork, turn taking, sportsmanship, and math skills!

In the sensory gym we worked on our hand-eye coordination, teamwork, sportsmanship, fine and gross motor skills, proprioception skills, vestibular and bilateral movements, math and rhyming skills, and balance and coordination.

Lastly, we enjoyed looking at and listening to Avery's pictures and journal entries about his trip to Florida!

Here we are ending the day by finishing our letters to Santa! I admired the approach the boys took. Butter up Santa and promise him cookies: "I think you are very nice. I have been nice this year too. I am going to give you lots of cookies. I would like..." Haha

Have a great night and I hope to see all of the parents who can make it between 6:00-6:15 p.m. tomorrow evening for the concert!

Mr. Jacob
