Haha. The boys seem to be saying this a lot lately and it is rubbing in!
Today was a very exciting day as we had our very first gymnastics session. Unfortunately we were missing our friend Zachary today, but he will have fun next Tuesday with us! Eric, Evan, and Avery did fantastic today and demonstrated some impressive skills. Rio Olympics here we come!
The day began with some Magic Squares for Eric and Avery, and a sensory circuit for Mr. Evan. Magic Squares utilizes teamwork, sportsmanship, auditory processing skills, visual-spatial skills, motor planning, problem solving, and memory.
Before morning circle we researched various countries on the computer, for example, UAE (Dubai), France, Brazil, Mexico, Thailand, India, and China. The boys voted on their country of choice for International Day, and settled on China!
Mr. Eric was our teacher today and is shown engaging in morning greetings.
Avery is going over the days.
Our voting session to choose a country took longer than anticipated as we got carried away with Google maps. Therefore, we had a short Math session where we completed our pricing and store flyer to sell our Lego toys!
In Language Arts today, we played a fun Barrier Activity involving our auditory processing skills and memory. The boys filled out a "The Most Perfect Pizza" sheet by creating their own pizza. One student then read out their ideal perfect pizza, while the other two boys had to draw the pizza from memory. Mmmmm, I want pizza now!
Avery checking his friends' work.
Eric making sure no one forgot any toppings.
The boys played Bandaid Tag yet again today during P.E. A great game to practice our gross motor skills, coordination, proprioceptive movements, bilateral movements, sportsmanship, teamwork, and endurance.
Helping our friend Avery to the "hospital" as he was out of bandaids and required "medical attention".
Gymnastics time!!!! The boys were all smiles and demonstrated excellent patience, listening skills, and movements in gymnastics today. We worked on our balance and coordination, proprioceptive and bilateral movements, sportsmanship, gross motor skills, and motor planning.

What a fun filled day! Have a relaxing evening gentlemen and I shall see you tomorrow!
Mr. Jacob : )
