Happy Tuesday Parents and Carers!

I hope everyone had a great long weekend and spent some time with their families yesterday!

There were only three friends in today unfortunately, and we hope to see Zachary soon this week.

Mr. Eric was our teacher today and led the class through time (past, present, and future), calendar work (years, months, days, and weeks), emotions and feelings, and morning greetings. We also had lengthly and detailed discussions about our long weekends.

The boys went over some new dance routines during our guided dancing! Guided dancing and sensory circuits are both great activities to help regulate and demonstrate great body and muscle awareness, proprioceptive, vestibular and bilateral movements, fine and gross motor skills, motor planning, and auditory processing.

During math today we went over fractions using or pizza game, and some fun pizza fraction worksheets from our Jump Math books. Before

Here we are going over our pizza phonics books by looking at our pizza spelling words and individual sounds, as well as sounds that make up words.

Avery was determined to tie up his shoe after Mr. Jacob showed everyone some tricks!

For gym today we learned a new game called "Jack Frost". Unfortunately we only had a few minutes to actual play the game as it took everyone some time to form a circle and choose a chair. This was a great social problem solving session involving math, brainstorming, two way conversation, oral and listening skills, auditory processing skills, collaboration, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Gymnastics was yet again a huge hit and success for everyone. The boys demonstrated excellent patience, listening skills, and movements in gymnastics today. We worked on our balance and coordination, proprioceptive, vestibular, and bilateral movements, sportsmanship, gross motor skills, and motor planning. We also got to spend some extra time on the big trampoline and in the foam pit!

Have a great evening gentlemen and see you tomorrow!

Mr. Jacob : )
