The boys were so excited to participate in our Show and Tell session as it has been a very long time since the last one! Everyone had to describe their object, share why they brought it in, where they got it from, how long they have had it, and why it is so special. We also used a Question Wheel to help work on our questioning and answering skills, using descriptive language, and working on inferencing and oral communication skills.
The boys wanted to begin the morning with some sensory dancing. Guided dancing and sensory circuits are both great activities to help regulate and demonstrate great body and muscle awareness, proprioceptive, vestibular and bilateral movements, fine and gross motor skills, motor planning, and auditory processing.
Today we spent some time working on our spring play. The boys got to go over some lines in the story, choose their own characters, and act out some scenes.
In science today we recapped our Five Senses and all the work we have done in term 2. Today, we used our snacks to go over all of our senses and write down what we saw, smelled, tasted, touched, and heard when we ate our food. It was a lot of fun and so delicious! We are very excited to begin Habitats next week for the remainder of the year.
Have a wonderful weekend and see you all next week!
