Happy Monday Parents and Carers!

We only had two friends in today to start off our week! Eric was ready to go and played a fun hands-eye, fine and gross motor accuracy math game with Mr. Jeremy to begin the day. He did very well adding up the scores and solving triple-digit problems! We also worked on turn taking, following rules, sportsmanship, and our emotions.

Avery and Eric both had 1:1 reading comprehension/ phonics sessions during language arts. They also got to choose their own activity- Avery chose pizza fractions while Eric chose dinosaurs. They both worked very well and did great!

Auditory & Reading Comprehension/ Processing

Race Car Phonics

In gym class today one of our friends from Ms. Andrea's class made up and helped explain his own Dodgeball game called "Wall Ball". The boys got to work on their hand-eye coordination, teamwork, sportsmanship, motor planning, fine and gross motor skills, proprioception skills, vestibular and bilateral movements, and balance and coordination.

The boys had some opportunities for partner play where they worked on playing together, sharing, turn taking, oral communication skills, and social skills.

In social skills today the boys joined Ms. Andrea's class to discuss the difference and similarities between 2D and 3D shapes. We then got into pairs and went around the school on a shape scavenger hunt with a partner! Everyone did very well using their number sense and numeracy skills, geometry skills, writing skills, and social skills with a partner.

In the sensory gym we worked on our hand-eye coordination, teamwork, sportsmanship, motor planning, fine and gross motor skills, proprioception skills, vestibular and bilateral movements, math, time, phonics and rhyming skills, and balance and coordination.

At the very end of the day we joined Ms. Andrea's class for some fun Call and Response songs and rhymes. Everyone followed along, participated, took turns, and had fun together!

Have a great evening and see you tomorrow.

Mr. Jacob : )
