The boys were so excited to participate in our Show and Tell session as it has been a very long time since the last one! Everyone had to describe their object, share why they brought it in, where they got it from, how long they have had it, and why it is so special. We also used a Question Wheel to help work on our questioning and answering skills, using descriptive language, and working on inferencing and oral communication skills.
The boys and I added some new elements to our Scooter Ball Tag today. We decided to place bowling pins around our playing area, with the intention to manoeuvre around them and not knock them over. If you did knock them over then you were automatically it. We worked on our bilateral, vestibular, and proprioceptive movements, fine and gross motor skills, motor planning, balance and coordination, hand-eye coordination, visual spatial skills, and math skills. It was so so much fun!
In art class today we made thank you cards for Mr. Nahi and Mr. Rylan who made our Easter Party so special! We also created some cool finger painted pictures to give them as well!
In science today we recapped our Five Senses and all the work we have done in term 2. Today, we used popcorn to go over all of our senses and write down what we saw, smelled, tasted, touched, and heard when we ate the popcorn. It was a lot of fun and so delicious!
Here we are presenting our cards and pictures to Mr. Nahi and Mr. Rylan. They were so surprised and happy! : )
