Happy November Parents and Carers!

The boys started the month by helping poor Mr. Jacob fix the calendar, as it was apparent he was all mixed up!

We then discussed what we did on the weekend, how Halloween was, and how we we're feeling on this sunny Monday morning. The boys then voted on Minute to Win It and completed three activities testing their patience, concentration, hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, and math skills.

After all that hard work and focus we decided to move about the class by settling on three different dances! Right now the boys are a huge fan of "Watch Me Whip and Nae Nae" children's Nickelodeon version, "Gangstam Style", and "I Like to Move It, Move It".

During math we started more complex work in measurement by completing activities in our JUMP Math workbooks. We worked on width, length, and centimetres depending on where we are it for mathematics.

After snack and recess we looked at "Things That Bug Us", and "When We're Upset We Can...". The boys began making their very own visual guide books for them to use when upset.

In gym class we learned a new fun game involving tag- Pac Man Tag! It was so much fun and such a lovely day so we played outside with our friends in Ms. Jessica and Ms. Hope/ Ms. Andrea's class.

After lunch we worked with our friends in social skills and came up with the proper way to make pizzas! For some of our friends new food can be challenging, and making our own food can be tricky! Everyone did very well and helped each other out in numerous ways. Mmmmmm

After social skills we used the sensory gym to regulate and work on sportsmanship, team building skills, gross and fine motor skills, balance and coordination skills, proprioception skills, and bilateral movement skills.

The boys worked well with their friends during recess come up with rules and a game to play!

We finished the busy Monday by having a fun and productive session of music therapy!

Have a great evening and enjoy the sun!

See you tomorrow : )

Mr. Jacob
