Brrrrrrrr. It was a cold start to the week! But that did not stop the boys from having a very busy and exciting day.
One of our friends started the day completing his Sensory Diet, while Eric and I had fun playing a Math game. Shhhh Eric won. Don't tell too many people! Haha

Evan was teacher today and did a fantastic job playing me! Here we are going over our daily timetable and month/week/day/date/year.
Here we are going over our feelings and emotions as a group. The boys used hang-man, Mr. Jarrod used a stop light, and I used objects and colours to describe how we were feeling today.
Throughout the day we looked at time by using time lines, compromising different activities, a cellphone clock, different countdown timers, a practice clock, and a basketball time game. Here we are dividing up our activities and seeing how long we have in a certain amount of time.
Bing Bots- a fun numeracy and number sense, turn taking game involving Lego robots!
Slam Dunk Time Game- looking at both digital and analogue clocks.
Cooling off and making a tent in the Regulation Room.
Working on our phonics books- the boys had to make the sound, think of different words that have the sound, and then find pictures of things that contain the sound (e.g. /wh/ cutting and pasting a photo of a whale).
We had a lot of fun in Gym with our friends in Ms. Jessica, Ms. Hope, and Ms. Andrea's classes. Here we are playing Ship Wreck! Arrrrrr
Minute to Win It addition/ number finding game.

During the Sensory Gym the boys did some heavy lifting, pushing, swinging, and worked on their balance and coordination, hand-eye coordination, fine and gross motor skills, proprioception skills, and bilateral movement.
We finished the day with a great session in Music Therapy!
Have a restful evening and see you tomorrow!
Mr. Jacob : )
